Live Webinar on 11/4/21 from 10-11am (CST): In this one-hour webinar, we will explore things you need to know about SSDI, including an overview of SSDI benefits and a review of additional work incentives that can help SSDI beneficiaries that are considering the return to work. Learn how SSDI beneficiaries can work for up to a year with no loss of cash benefits to evaluate their ability to work. Learn how SSDI beneficiaries can maintain Medicare insurance even if benefits are terminated. This training is designed to help professionals providing employment supports to individuals with disabilities who receive SSA disability benefits.

Presenter: Kevin Nickerson
Kevin Nickerson is a nationally recognized expert on the effective implementation of Employment Networks (ENs) within the public workforce system as well as a formerly certified Community Work Incentive Coordinator (CWIC), now Community Partner Work Incentives Counselor (CPWIC). With 25 years of experience helping SSA disability beneficiaries in achieving self-sufficiency, and nearly two decades of experience operating a successful Employment Network, Mr. Nickerson employed this experience most recently as the Disability Resource Coordinator State Lead for NYS under their Round 1 Disability Employment Initiative. He now works for National Disability Institute as ADEN Co-Director, serving as a catalyst supporting strategies that enhance the financial capability of individuals with disabilities. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology.
