Live Webinar on 12/16/21 from 10-11am CST: Helping individuals with disabilities find appropriate employment is a continual challenge for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is evaluating the client’s motivation. Accordingly, having a grasp of the proper use of Motivational Interviewing can allow counselors to gauge a client’s preparedness and desire to take the next step with the employment process. Ensuring that a client is adequately prepared for employment can prevent missteps and wasted effort.

Bradley McDaniels, PhD, CRC is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Rehabilitation and Health Services at the University of North Texas. He is also the Rehabilitation Studies Undergraduate Program Coordinator.
