Full course description

How many of us always knew what we wanted to be when we grew up? Was it realistic or based on data? Probably not. It was what we knew or liked (or thought we liked) and little thought was given to aptitude or personality. In these 3 part sessions we will explore the types of assessment that can be used to support informed decision making and self-determination in determining career options, understand the pros and cons of varying types of assessments, take a look at how to take all that data to support individuals in goal setting, and developing reasonable accommodations that can be implemented in the workplace.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to

  1. Identify and select assessments most appropriate based on needs of the individual and data required.
  2. Utilize resources and data to best support individuals in creating goals for employment.
  3. Determining reasonable accommodations based on the data and toward supporting individuals in how to self-advocate for those accommodations.
