Researchers estimate that over 70% of the information we gather is through our visual sense.  Those who are blind or severely visually impaired face many obstacles in life as a result.  This segment of the disability population must develop unique methods and skills to overcome these obstacles.  With an unemployment rate of 63% they face many career challenges.
