Full course description

Pre-Recorded Webinar: Clients of State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), who receive Social Security disability benefits, can continue to receive long-term employment supports through the Ticket to Work program, however most are not utilizing the “full value” of their Ticket to Work. Connecting the dots in to assure this continuity of services between VR and service providers is often confusing, which has interfered with successful handoffs between the two agencies. This webinar will explain the benefits for the individual to use the full value of their Ticket and how a working relationship can benefit both service providers.  Common barriers are addressed. Learn how agencies can help to raise the bar of a coordinated service delivery. Successful examples will be shared, along with a blueprint of next steps to bring to your team in changing the pulse of the partnership between these two agencies.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to

  1. State the intent of Partnership Plus in the Ticket to Work program.
  2. State the benefit of beneficiary using the full value of their Ticket.
  3. Describe ways to positively impact the Partnership Plus concept between state Vocational Rehabilitation agencies and employment service providers.
