There are general myths and misconceptions about people with disabilities going to work. What will happen to their benefits? What will happen to their health insurance? WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

Sandy will provide a basic overview of the disability benefits and the impact of work on them, including Medicaid! She will introduce the various work incentives available to the beneficiary and how to request, implement, and track them.

Topics will include Title 2 disability benefit: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Childhood Disability Benefits (CDB) and Title 16 Supplemental Security Income (SSI). She will share the eligibility, rules, work incentives and provide examples. Sandy will discuss Medicare and Medicaid.Please join Sandy as she provides a basic overview of this very confusing topic.

2. Understand the various work incentives associated with each benefit received
