The counseling working alliance is an essential aspect of service delivery for all counselors that is consistently linked to positive treatment/service outcomes. The alliance refers to the bond developed between the counselor and client, in addition to counseling goals and specific therapeutic tasks to achieve these goals. This webinar will focus on factors that enhance the working alliance between client and counselor and will provide a comprehensive understanding of mechanisms that promote change or progress toward counseling goals. These skills and insights can be utilized for counselors in vocational rehabilitation or traditional counseling settings.
